1. ORDER
An order becomes binding only when the customer has approved the engraving sketch. Once the order is approved, we begin the production process. We will apply for approval of the ordered headstone from the local cemetery authority, but changes may be required if the desired monument is not permitted at the specific grave. A new solution will be presented to the customer for approval.
2. ORDERING PARTY
The person submitting the order confirms having used their own name. The ordering party must be the leaseholder of the grave where the headstone will be installed, or have been given authority to submit the order on behalf of the grave's leaseholder. If ordering a headstone where the grave's leaseholder subsequently refuses installation of the ordered memorial, the ordering party will be financially responsible to Gravsteinbutikken.no - Asker Monument AS.
3. PRICE - MEMORIAL MONUMENT
Gravsteinbutikken.no has no hidden costs. All prices for standard models and accessories are stated on the website, including VAT.
Price listed in webshop includes:
- Headstone model in specified size and stone type
- Engraving of all names, birth dates and death dates
- Submission of application for approval of the memorial to the local cemetery authority

4. DELIVERY TIME
Delivery time is calculated from the day the customer has approved an engraving sketch and is normally 3-6 weeks. Somewhat dependent on processing time at the local cemetery authority.
5. REMOVAL OF OLD MEMORIAL
If there is an old memorial on the grave, the customer must inform Gravsteinbutikken.no - Asker Monument AS about this well in advance of installation.
Gravsteinbutikken.no - Asker Monument AS will investigate which alternatives for removal and destruction apply at the specific cemetery. In some places the church collects and destroys memorials, while in other places the installer must take the memorial for destruction. The customer will have to bear any costs for removal of the old memorial, and Gravsteinbutikken.no - Asker Monument AS will not charge more than actual cost.
6. CANCELLATION
A headstone with inscription is a unique product manufactured for individual customers and is therefore not covered by the right of withdrawal provision in the Consumer Purchase Act - we have therefore made submitting the order non-binding as an extra safety factor for our customers.
An order is considered binding when the customer approves an engraving sketch proof in writing. If the actual stone carving has not begun, an administration fee of NOK 1,500 will be charged to the customer. The order cannot be cancelled after installation.
7. COMPLAINTS
Complaints regarding damage to headstone:
If damage has occurred to the headstone before it is fully installed, which appears disfiguring, Gravsteinbutikken.no - Asker Monument AS will, after evaluating the damage, choose either repair or production of a new headstone, without incurring additional costs for the customer.
Complaints regarding defects/errors/damaged accessories:
If ordered accessories are damaged or missing upon delivery, missing parts to complete the order will be sent subsequently. Edge frames and grave plates are delivered directly to the cemetery on the next delivery in the nearby area. Smaller accessories, such as birds, lanterns or other small accessories can also be delivered directly to the customer's home for faster delivery.
8. PAYMENT
The ordering party is responsible for payment arriving on time, even if other family members or an estate are to pay all or part of the payment.
The customer receives an invoice with payment due 30 days after ordering.
9. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Gravsteinbutikken.no - Asker Monument AS terms and conditions must be approved upon confirmation during ordering.
